About early childhood Development is a continuous process. It proceeds stage by stage in an orderly sequence, despite individual variations. Childhood is indeed the magical time in our life span and this is when the skills blossom. From the moment of conception to adolescence, the child passes through many facets of developmental growth. During each stage external signs of development such as changes in height and weight are much noticeable than the internal changes such as thinking and emotional skills.
Early childhood provides the basis for the development of behavioral patterns, attitudes and emotional expressions. Ninety percent of brain development happens during the first 6 years of age. During these early years, children learn and understand by doing and experimenting.
A strong learning foundation is essential for their successful future. All children in addition to their innate skills, can learn new additional skills.
